Between "Twilight," filming, she also shot five films which included "Up in the Air". She was in the role of George Clooney in that film and was awarded an Oscar. Since her debut, she's appeared in numerous critically and commercially successful films like "Scott Pilgrim Vs. America." Anna Cook Kendrick was born in Portland, Maine on the 9th of August, 1985. Her mother was an accountant while her father taught of history. Anna was raised by her brother Michael who was an actor and later an actor. Anna Kendrick began auditioning to Broadway productions as a teenager in Deering High School in Portland. At the age of 12, she received her first role in a major theatre production in High Society. Despite being a young child the performance earned her numerous nominations and awards. She was an actress in A Little Night Music as an actress in a part-time capacity. She made her film debut at Camp in that same year, age fifteen. Kendrick received awards for her performance as well as for her performance in Rocket Science 2007 at age 15.
