
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk on the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. She is an Ohio native, and wasn't keen on markets or currencies when she was in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com while she was an undergraduate at New York University. She gained her first experience in the field of business news through this job. She went on to earn an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Then, she took on an internship of four months at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to America and began working at Bloomberg's New York office. She eventually became a TV anchor. CNBC has hired her as a reporter in December 2013. After being a co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" as well as Power Lunch', she was employed by CNBC in the month of December 2013. She then got the position in the year following Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk On the Street' since the year 2014. She is one of the most revered business journalists in the world today. Since her arrival at CNBC, her primary attention has been on global consumer news.
