Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress who is best well-known for her films as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the television series The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in film, theater, and television. She began her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's amazing show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. She did not only be praised by critics for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. She began her career as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The actress has appeared as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In the film industry her most well-known roles are roles such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime drama High Incident.
