Awkwafina was initially an American rapper and singer, releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. Prior to her move to Hollywood her career, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Later, she began traditional and hip-hop training. In the end, she focused on her education. she was awarded a degree in journalism in university and also a women's study specialization. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until she completed her degree. After gaining viral fame via the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits including body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$1. The latter song was linked directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in 2015. The resume of her included the musician and author. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored many breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
